Tobin turntables are designed to be used with meter, mix and dispensing equipment to facilitate mold traffic control. The tables are available with or without a heat tunnel. Optional cooling is available via a unique hub mounted manifold that can accommodate multiple molds situated around the table.

The modular design of the turntables allow them to be easily assembled on site and can be shipped in a single wooden crate small enough to fit in the back of a pick-up truck or regular commercial carrier’s van or trailer. This modular construction provides the capability to support most load conditions. Variable rotation speeds from 1/12^th to 2/3^rd RPM are standard and controlled by a variable speed DC motor driving the table on its circumference. Tables are available in two convenient diameters.

Specifications:

12 ft. DIAMETER:: Table height is 36” above floor level with deck constructed of 1” thick, steel sandwich panels bolted between 6 steel spokes radiating from a center bearing hub and supported around the periphery by 30 adjustable height urethane rubber rollers to provide precise leveling under all load conditions. The rollers are mounted on welded modular steel square tube bases which are bolted together forming a rigid structure. The table features a 1/3 HP, variable speed DC motor and sprocket driving a circumference mounted roller chain in channel.

INFRA-RED OVEN: Designed to keep molds at a constant temperature and features multiple radiant heaters mounted in a riveted sheet metal enclosure covering 2/3^rd of the table includes an air circulation fan, thermometer and temperature controller. Standard dimensions are 26” inside width by 14” inside height. Power requirement is 21KW on 240/480VAC, 3 phase, 60 Hz. Temperature control is from ambient – 250 degrees F.
