Water Manifold Option
A
unique water swivel manifold and/or air swivel manifold can be fitted
as an option to the center of the table to allow heating/cooling fluids
to be directed to the molds for tempering and/or air for the operation
of pneumatic mold clamping or opening/closing mechanisms.
SPECIFICATIONS
12 Foot Diameter Table:
CAROUSEL TABLE: Rotary table 144" diameter, 36"
high, top constructed from steel sandwich panels, 1" thick, bolted
between 6 steel spokes radiating from center bearing hub, supported
around periphery by 30 adjustable height rubber rollers to provide precise
leveling under all load conditions, mounted on welded steel square base,
modular bolted assembly, 1/3 hp DC electric motor rim drive, roller
chain in groove around outside circumference of table top, with speed
variable from 1/12 to 2/3 rpm.
INFRA-RED OVEN: Infra-red radiant heater oven built
in riveted enclosure with air recirculating fan, thermometer, temperature
control, installed on rotary table to enclose 300" of circumference,
26" inside width by 14" inside height, 21 KW on 240 / 480
volt, 3 phase power. Thermostatically controlled air temperature adjustable
from 50 - 250 degrees F, designed to keep molds at a constant temperature.
AUTOMATION: The Tobin carousel tables can be provided
with varying levels of automation and linked to all models of Tobin
dispensing equipment. Automation includes automatic indexing of molds,
recognition of different mold capacities and adjustment of dispensing
machine shot times, indexing of the mix head to the mold and automatic
dispensing of the correct amount of material.
