Specifications:
*Single or 3
phase,
variable speed pump drive motor with gear reducer.
Fixed or variable arc cams to control pump piston stroke.
*Single or double
acting pumps for precision shot metering or continuous flow.
Positive opening and closing, spring loaded piston check valves for
pump inlets and outlets prevent off ratio condition at beginning and
end of stroke cycles.
*Heated check
valve
housings prevent sticking.
*Injection
dispense
pressures up to 3,000 psi for closed mold applications. Pouring into an
open mold results in very little pressure. Only that which is caused by
the mix chamber and any hose attached to the end of the mixer.
*Mix ratios from
1:1
to 20:1 (with optional diameter pumps and cams).
*The mix head is
mounted on the machine frame and oriented to facilitate the process
requirement, such as but not limited to, vertically or horizontally.
*4000 RPM electric
mixer motor.
*Disposable
plastic
cartridge dynamic mixer (unique blade & baffle design) up to 40
lb./min. depending on viscosity. Higher outputs/viscosities require an
aluminum blade & baffle mixer.
*Injector/check
valves and orifices at mix head manifold prevent lead/lag.
*Manual valves to
control feed or recycle of product from pumps to mix head.
*Stainless steel
braided, Teflon lined hose set from pumps to mix head.
*Flexible plastic
tubing can be attached to the mix head and thus to the dispense
location. Either a foot switch or a hose mounted pistol grip with
switch and can be supplied to control the dispense start/stop.
Otherwise, the dispense is controlled from the control panel.
*A NEMA 12 control
panel mounted on the machine frame houses all required switches,
controllers and indicator lights.
*Electrical
requirements: 120VAC, 60 Hz, 10 to 20 amps or 230VAC, 3 phase, 60 Hz
depending on pump motor HP and heating requirements.
Options:
*Various size cams
to facilitate various ratios.
*Multiple heat
zones
to accommodate process of hot cast urethanes including MbOCA.
*Various saddle or
day tanks from 1 gallon to 80 gallon with or without heating.
*Vacuum capable
material tanks with magnetically coupled agitators.
*Electric or air
powered tank mixers.
*Automatic tank
refill kits.
*Jacketed tanks
for
chilled water cooling.
*Chillers.
*Drum feed kit
from
supply drums to metering pumps (with or without heat).
*Shot size
controllers.
*Solvent/air purge
kit.
*Static mixers for
epoxy or silicone applications.
*Portable mounting
stand on caster wheels.
*Air regulator,
gauge and filter assembly (required for purge kit).
*Automatic valves
to
control feed or recycle of product from pumps to mix head.
*Jacketed mixer
shroud to provide cooling of mixer for extended dispense cycles.
*Adjustable mixer
motor speed controller.
*Custom engineered
features to facilitate your specific process.
